Australian schools have an increasingly important role in supporting children's mental health and wellbeing. As student needs continue to grow, schools require sustainable, evidence-based approaches that strengthen staff capability to support student mental health and wellbeing, promote wellbeing across the whole school community, and enable early intervention and prevention.

Join this free webinar to learn how the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative in Victoria is supporting schools to build a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing. Hear from leaders in education, MHiPS implementation and schools as they share insights into the development, implementation and impact of MHiPS across Victoria (plus learnings from new pilots in Queensland).

Through a facilitated panel discussion, speakers from the Victorian Department of Education, the MHiPS team at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and the University of Melbourne and participating schools will discuss the factors that underpin successful implementation, and the positive changes they are seeing in school communities. • how a whole-school, prevention-focused approach can strengthen mental health and wellbeing outcomes for students
