Collaboration opportunities
Our approach to collaboration
We value collaboration and are committed to contributing to shared efforts that strengthen outcomes for children, schools and systems.
Evaluation/Research collaborations
While we are currently unable to participate in evaluation studies involving our generated data, infrastructure, or internal resourcing, we welcome opportunities for mutual learning and connection.
Where appropriate, we are able to offer:
- participation in information-sharing discussions (e.g. brainstorming methodology or recruitment strategies)
- advisory input on aligned projects, frameworks, or proposals
- student or early-career staff supervision, aligned with individual research interests.
We also hope to establish mechanisms in the near future to:
- promote and support high-quality, aligned research studies
- provide access to our generated data via a formal research request process.
Endorsement of interventions, programs and measures
MHIPS is a place-based initiative and does not endorse specific interventions, programs or measures. We work with our schools to ensure they have the confidence and skills to select approaches right for their context. Part of this capacity building is directing them to evidence houses for approaches and programs they may be interested in knowing more about. Validated programs seeking broader implementation should consider applying to the state-based School Mental Health Menu or the Be You Programs Directory, which provide national guidance on evidence-informed approaches.
Strategic growth opportunities
We welcome strategic collaborations that align with our growth priorities and mission. Where there is clear mutual value, we’re open to exploring opportunities on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to simone.darling@mcri.edu.au.
